Jan Carroll is someone special to me too. I live in England and met Jan on MySpace. She, her daughter-in- law Sue and I keep in touch. In November 2007, I flew from the UK to my mothers in Newport News, Virginia for month. On the way home, I kept smelling an odd odor in the plane. To make a long story short…..within 12 hours of landing back home in England, I was admitted to Leighton Hospital of which I stayed for 7 1/2 weeks! I had a/c poisoning. That was Christmas, New Years and weeks beyond. When Jan and Sue found out, I got cards, and a lovely box of things, personal lovely items, plus some Starbucks Tazo Chi tea. I LOVE Starbucks Tazo Chai Black Tea!
l9 months on, I've been thrown into Rhumatoid Arthritus,and have Sjorens disease, I'm on 14 tablets a day because I've got permanent lung and chest damage thanks to the Airline, but my loving friends Jan and Family never forget me, email me, send cards and she is one SUPER Lady with a big heart, a smile to match, and the love of a dear friend I will always carry with me. I love you Jan, and more people need to know just how wonderful you are! You are a precious friend and an Angel as well as DJ! Pam Coleman/Crewe, Cheshire, ENGLAND

Very cool. This article definitely enforces the fact that it's the “little things in life” that bring happiness. I definitely know if someone did something unique like that for me, I would remember it for quite awhile or even everytime I went to Starbucks, which is awesome!
