This is a great story Nate! All brands and companies need more people like Avery, she sounds like a person who genuinely cares about others and people like that are soooo easy to love :) Followed on Twiiter :P
I wish there was a Claim Jumper here :(

I've never been to Claim Jumper, but I have had some great interactions from people representing brands on Twitter - @simpleshoes, for one. It's always refreshing to interact and not be broadcasted to.

I happen to follow Avery on twitter and have for some time. I absolutely adore and admire her passion for Claim Jumper and what she is doing for the brand. I am a raving fan of CJ and was before I connected the two. Her legacy is tremendous and value proposition is, well, commendable. She is such an engaging and genuine person. It is a great story, as usual Nate and nice that you profile a restaurant person.
Being in the industry myself for more years than I want to remember, I am so happy to see us using SM to this level of authenticity!!!!!

Yeah, I've only been twice, both times 10 years ago when I lived out in Denver. Once was the first time I wore a new shirt and tie (the first ones I'd ever bought), because I had a job interview that day. The job actually turned out to be a scam, though. When they said "office manager", what they really meant was "dude who sells CDs titled 'Revenge of the Gadfly' door-to-door." I wish I were making that up.

The other time was when my brother and cousin came to visit me out there, and the three of us went with one of my friends, who happened to be very pretty. My cousin got really upset because he somehow flipped his rack of ribs off is plate, down his shirt, and onto his lap. Quite embarrassing.

But the food and atmosphere were good then, and I look forward to going next week.

Nice story Nate. I'd never heard of Claim Jumper, but it sounds like the company is run by great people and since they're located close to here I now look forward to visiting with my family!
