Give A Day, Get A Disney Day

One of my friends told me about this the other day (thanks, Va!), and I thought it was a pretty cool example of a big corporation doing a good job of marketing/PR while at the same time making a difference.

Check out this offer from Disney: “We want to inspire one million people to volunteer a day of service to a participating organization in their communities. So we’re celebrating these volunteers’ good works by giving each of them a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort, free. There’s no better time to make a dream come true for others and let us make a few come true for you.”

So if you’re someone who volunteers regularly, you may want to register through this site to take advantage of Disney’s generosity. And if it’s not something you do regularly, I think this is a great opportunity to give it a try, and get something fun back in return.

GG, Disney.
