ItStartsWith.Us 2009 Year In Review

I would like to pay tribute to all the members of the ItStartsWith.Us community who joined the team in 2009 and spent 15 minutes a week making a difference in the lives of the people around us. Because of you, we were able to accomplish some amazing things for others this past year. Below you’ll find a yearbook of sorts, highlighting some of our best work from 2009. Take a look; you may find yourself in there.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve on this team with each and every one of you. Thank you so much for your help this year in making ItStartsWith.Us a success.

This is how we change the world.

  • This is AMAZING, Nate! You rock! I read it the moment you sent it out & have literally thought about it every day since. (yea, yea, I know it has taken me forever to comment on the post! I'm a busy girl!) I try to read all the mission results through the online forum, but sometimes I get so behind that I can't keep up! This was such a great way to share all the great stories with the team members! Thanks for everything you do, Nate. We couldn't ask for a better "leader!"

ahhhh, seriously awesome! i'm so excited to get started!
  • It truly makes me wish that I had done even more in 2009, so the only answer is to do more in 2010. One baby step at a time we can change the world in a more positive spin.

I'm completely in awe of all the difference this community has made in the life of others.

  • I am new here, but this is great. It is easy for people to forget how much impact they can really have. Looking forward to spending 2010 with you!

Wow, I am truly impressed with how fast we've grown and how powerful we are. This group has truly inspired me.
  • It was no problem putting it together, just a bit of work. All of you (us!) did the hard part each and every week. You all rock.

    :)

Wow! This is amazing - only joined Itstartswith.us at the beginning of 2010 so haven't been involved in much yet, but this is awesome & inspiring. Thanks for putting this together

Nate thank you for your dedication, hard work and passion for itStartsWith.Us. It is truly AMAZING to see what everyone has done.

    Great work everyone!
  • Wow, this is amazing. I'm only on page 11 and I am already feeling so touched by everything you guys did this year. I signed up for ItStartsWithUs awhile back, but hadn't participated in any of the missions until the recent "Love Bomb" we did on Bonzai Bill's blog. Reading these stories is amazing and has inspired me to really stay in touch with this group this year and do my part. With all of the sad stories in the news everyday, this was a real pick-me-up to read. Great work everyone!

I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing (it's printing), but just skimming it has made me smile. Especially seeing the story submitted by my friend about her bicycles being replaced. :)

Congrats to everyone! It's been a good year.
