Partner: 20 Something Bloggers

ItStartsWith.Us and 20SB are both full of unique, creative people who have a lot to offer. So we decided to partner up in this big ol’ mission to change the world. 20-something bloggers are cool and connected and vocal and know what they’re about. They have talent and passion, and they want to be active participants in changing the game . . . for the better. So it’s quite fitting that the 20 Something Bloggers network is going to be the first subgroup of the ItStartsWith.Us A-Team. (If you don’t yet know what the A-Team is, you can learn more here.)

Here’s what this means: members of the 20SB network who are interested in participating on the A-Team will sign up under their subgroup (available below), instead of on the general list. The 20SB subgroup will then receive its weekly mission assignments, which will sometimes mirror the general list, but oftentimes will be more specificly targeted to their niche.

For instance, when I assign weekly missions, I have to keep them generic enough that anyone can do them. But with the formation of certain subgroups, I can work with representative members from those groups to assign missions that are more relavent to those particular people. In this way we still retain the power and mobilization capability of ALL the A-Team members if necessary, but we also open the door to doing some much more targeted activities. Some of the ideas and missions will come directly from me, and some will come from the 20SB team members involved in the partnership, which also gives those community leaders the opportunity to connect more with the people in their network.

I’m really excited about this partnership — I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish. If you’re in your twenties and write a blog, please consider joining us on our mission to change the world by making a positive impact in the lives of the people around us. And if you’re not already a member of the 20SB community, please consider joining their established network as well.
